Preparation time: 15 minutes + 30 minutes for rising
Cooking time: 20 minutes (for cream) + 20 minutes in oven
Total time: about 85 minutes
Ingredients (2 cakes):
(short pastry)
28.2 oz (800 g) flour
8.8 oz (250 g) butter
8.8 oz (250 g) g sugar
0.56 oz (16 g) baking powder
4 eggs
+ (cream)
8 tbsp flour
16 tbsp sugar
8 yolks
4.2 (1 lt) milk
1 lemon peel
1 vanillina sachet
+ fruit (strawberry, mulberry, currants, raspberry, mandarins, bananas, pinapple)
I sift the flour.
I add melted butter and I quickly mix.
I add sugar.
I add eggs.
I put the pasta in an holder and I add baking powder.
I make a cross and...
I cover it with a clingfilm. I let it rise for 30 minutes.
Meantime I prepare the cream: in a pan I add flour, sugar...
... yolks and I mix.
I add little by little the milk.
I add vanillina and ...
... lemon peel.
I put the pan on low heat for about 20 minutes.
I roll out the pasta.
I put it in a baking pan, removing the
excess.
I add some beans, for avoid too much rising
I put in the oven for 20
minutes at 356 F (180 ° C).
Altought the beans, the pasta rised too
much so I remove a little bit of it in the centre.
I pour the cream.
I decorate it with the fruit.
