Newspaper nail art

Dopo vari tentativi... ce l'ho fatta!!!
Ci sono riuscita usando l'alcool rosa e un giornale tipo "Donna moderna", con quotidiani o altri tipi di alcool no.


After several attempts ... I did it!
I've done them using methylated spirits and a newspaper like "Time", with daily newspapers or other types of alcohol I've not had success.

Step by step recipe: "Scialatielli" pasta with lobster

"Scialatielli" is a fresh pasta, born in

the Amalfi coast, 

very similar to tagliatelle, 

but it's ticker and less long.

Ingredients:
8.8 oz (250 g) scialatielli (pasta)
70.6 oz (2 kg) lobster
3.4 oz (100 g) cherry tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
a splash of white wine
basil
oil
salt

... Ginevra, Svizzera.


Sì abbiamo deciso di ritornare un po' indietro, per sentirci più vicine all'Italia.
Il nostro scopo è visitare Ginevra, ma non avendo trovato alberghi economici in città, pernottiamo in Francia, a Ferney-Voltaire, che è a pochi chilometri da Ginevra... la Svizzera non è enorme!
L'albergo è ancora un Hotel Formule1, esattamente uguale all'altro, stesso prezzo per il pernottamento e la colazione, stesso trattamento, arredamento e livello di pulizia.


... Geneva, Switzerland.

Yes, we have decided to go back a little bit, to feel closer to Italy.
We want to visit Geneva, but we didn't find a cheap hotel in town, so we spend the night in  Ferney-Voltaire, France, which is a few kilometers from Geneva ... Switzerland is not huge!
The hotel is still a Formula1 Hotel, exactly like the one in Annecy, same price for bed and breakfast, the same treatment, decor and cleanliness.


Restiamo solo una notte, per cui non perdiamo tempo e ritorniamo in Svizzera.
Parcheggiamo in Rue du Rhone e ci dirigiamo verso il famoso "Jet de l'Eau", una grande fontana all'interno del lago, che proietta l'acqua a 140 metri di altezza, dove ci siamo un bel po' rinfrescate!



We stay only one night, so we do not waste time and we return to Switzerland.
We park in Rue du Rhone and we make for the famous "Jet de l'Eau", a large jet in the lake, which projects the water 140 meters high, where we have a nice refreshed! 

Andiamo verso i "Jardin Anglais", dove si trova il celebre "Orologio fiorito"...




We head "Jardin Anglais", a park where there is the famous "Flower clock"...

... poi ci rechiamo alla Cattedrale di Saint Pierre, che però troviamo chiusa.




... then we go to "Saint Pierre Cathedral", but it's closed.







Dopo una ricca cena a base di hot dog (abbiamo cenato in un pub in una via laterale un hot dog con un'insalatina e coca-cola... 40 euro!!!), passiamo davanti la casa natale di Jean Jacques Rousseau, un famoso scrittore, e andiamo alla ricerca del Muro dei Riformatori... con non poca fatica.
Durante la ricerca ci siamo un po' fermate a riposarci sulla panchina in legno più lunga del mondo (126 metri), che si trova nel Viale Promenade de la Treille.
Troviamo finalmente questo muro, si trovava all'interno di un parco dove non c'era una misera lucina ad illuminarlo!
Compiuta la nostra missione ritorniamo in albergo!


After a rich dinner, we eat an hot dog (we had dinner, in a pub in a street side, salad with a hot dog and coca-cola ... 40 euros - 53 dollars!), we see the birthplace of Jean Jacques Rousseau , a famous writer, and we look for the Reformation Wall ... with no little difficulty.
During the search we have a little rest on the world's longest woodenbench (126 meters), located in the Avenue Promenade des Tours.
We find at last this wall, it was located in a park where there was a miserable little light to illuminate it!
Accomplished our mission we go back to the hotel!

La mattina dopo ci dirigiamo al "Palais des Nations" (Il Palazzo delle Nazioni Unite), che purtroppo non siamo riuscite a visitarlo, perché era domenica ed era chiuso.

Next morning, we make for the "United Nations", that unfortunately we can't visit, beacuse it's sunday and it's closed.

Andiamo verso il centro della città per visitare il Monumento di Brunswick, un mausoleo che è la riproduzione esatta della tomba della famiglia Scaligeri di Verona.

Ci mangiamo un panino e via, verso...

Then, we come back in the center of the city for visit the "Brunswick monument", a mausoleum, that is the exact copy of the Scaligeri family tomb in Verona, Italy.
We eat a sandwich and we go to...

Ieri volevo provare la "newspaper nail art", ma non riuscivo a stampare le lettere sull'unghia (nei prossimi giorni comprerò l'alcool, io ho provato con il citrosil) per cui ho ripiegato su questa:

Yesterday I wanted to try "newspaper nail art", but I wasn't able to print letters on my nail ( next days I'll buy alcohol, I've tried using a disinfectant), so I turned on this manicure.

e preferisco quello Essence, è migliore e costa anche meno!


I've got this two products:
- n°10 by Debby
- "Black cracking top coat" by Essence
and I prefer Essence one, it's better and it costs less than Debby.
